While we encourage all our members to vote, we understand the reality that taking this one action every other year isn't enough to create the real change Americans desperately want and need.
That's where Action NET comes in, to offer everyday people a convenient option to stay informed and get involved by making change where it matters most - in our backyard.

Our mission is to provide a simple notification service to our members and partners to keep them informed on local topics of importance, from demonstrations and rallies to workshops and training. With so many groups doing good work, we seek to unite a coalition of broad support across Southwest Florida.

Action NET is committed to advocacy and support for: labor organizing, voter protections, bodily autonomy & reproductive rights, LGBTQIA+ equality, affordable housing, racial equity, ending gun violence, welfare for vulnerable people such as seniors and children, and housing-first programs to end homelessness.

CHANGE STARTS AT HOME
While there are other issues that must be addressed from a State or Federal level (such as criminal justice reform or campaign finance reform, Action Net is focused on issues where local people can organize and take direct action with grass-roots efforts for positive change. Together, we are powerful.

Southwest Florida Action NET is always expanding its user base and operating location. Currently, our actions are primarily directed toward Lee and Collier counties, though we expect to begin offering service to our neighboring counties in the coming months ahead as our infrastructural capabilities grow.
